A superb weldable #36 mild steel clip tailored to be used with all crane rail sections in this catalog.

Herculees rail clips are available in various designs. They conform to the specific dimensions of each of our crane rail sections.

Made from #36 mild steel these clips are weldable and designed to be bolted to the runway girder. They are to be spaced according to the capacity and use of the crane in opposing pairs.

Hook Bolts
  
 
Hook bolts are used to fasten crane rail securely to its supporting member. They are bolted through the rail web and installed in pairs with alternating hooks reversed and spaced across to the capacity of the crane. We can furnish hook bolts in any size, shape or length to meet a specified situation.

 

When ordering, please specify section of crane rail, size and weight of member supporting rail or beam (and size of cover plate or filler plate, if these are to be used). Also specify dia- meter of hook bolts and elevation of holes above base of rail and bolt spacing.

Hook Bolt Drilling

Where rail is to be installed with hook bolts, we will drill to your specifications. Bolts are installed in pairs as shown in diagram and spaced according to the capacity of the crane.

Rail clips are available in designs to conform to the bases of each of the rail sections and to fasten them securely to the runway girder. They are usually installed in pairs opposite each other and spaced according to the capacity of the crane.

No. 6821 Stiff fibre with or without chisel end. The hardest test for a broom is cleaning track and switches. Fuller construction meets this requirement splendidly. Railroad companies have standardized on this broom because of the savings made possible. Only the best obtainable fibre is used in this model. It wears evenly and holds it shape under the most severe conditions. This broom is also used in industrial plants for moving very heavy refuse. Overall length 54"

  No. 6827 Similar to no. 6821 but with a chisel end for breaking ice and removing sand or hardened snow from switches. Chisel is made of tough malleable steel, securely fastened by a steel ferrule. Overall length 57 3/8".
